The FingerTec PoE (Power over Ethernet) Converter is used to transfer electric power, along with data, to remote FingerTec terminals over a standard twisted cable in an Ethernet network. The PoE Converter is recommended for premises where electric power supply is infeasible or electrical wiring installation is inconvenient. The PoE technology transmits power and data through the same Ethernet cabling, as an effective alternative to power up FingerTec terminals for both Time and Attendance or Access Control models by DC 12V.
