Digi Access Pushes FingerTec to Government Sector

Digi Access Sales & Services starts with FingerTec products about half a year ago. Within only six months of selling biometrics products, the company has managed to secure a few good deals in Negeri Sembilan as well as in a part of Selangor. Recently Digi Access installs 25 units of R2 in MARDI, Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute headquarters in Sri Kembangan to fulfill their attendance and door access requirements. Digi Access also installs 17 units of R2 in Halim Mazmim Sdn Bhd, a private logistics company and TA102 units for attendance for Tunku Jaafar Hospital, Seremban.
According to Mr Shahidan Said, Managing Director of Digi Access Sales & Services, the company always focuses more on the government sectors because a lot of their existing clients are in the sector. Based on his experience, customers prefer R2 for door access and TA100 series for time attendance. Though the customers are always presented with the full FingerTec catalogue, their preference has always been these two products, perhaps due to the designs. For Digi Access, to retain a client, good service is definitely second to none. “FingerTec provides us with easy to understand software and good services. It’s easy when you are out on the field selling the products and the support is always available to assist,” explains Shahidan referring to the readily available support team of FingerTec.
“I’m looking forward to promote Face ID . I reckon this product would be a success amongst women. Sometimes women’s fingerprints are hard to read because they work hard at home (doing house chores). Face ID would solve this problem because they don’t have to touch the machine. They just have to look and the machine reads. And I would say that Face ID wouldn’t reject beautiful ladies,” he continues.

Digi Access Sales & Services have two offices located in Selangor and Seremban. With a growing client list for FingerTec products, it has become easier for Digi Access to convince the potential clients the effectiveness and simplicity of the system.

“Everybody is hoping for a better 2010 and with the introduction of the new models from FingerTec, I don’t see any problem achieving that,” Shahidan ends the interview.
