Kazakon Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 15th February 1991, taking over Syarikat Pembinaan Kaza's business, a construction company since 1989. Kazakon started its business as a telecommunication infrastructure installer and supplier for both fibre optic and copper networks. Today, Kazakon Sdn Bhd is one of the main contractors for Telekom Malaysia, Celcom Axiata, Maxis and ALTEL in the Southern and Central Region. Kazakon Sdn Bhd has been a registered contractor (JKH) for Telekom Malaysia since 1991 and had completed more than RM100 million contract successfully with Telekom Malaysia.

The main reason for the shift from a Windows-based attendance system to the cloud is the staff's mobility. The biometric device's fixity makes it hard for the management to trace some staff who work on sites. The attendance data is also not integrated with the payroll software, making payroll processing harder than it should.
Now with TimeTec TA, the smart attendance, the GPS clocking in TimeTec TA App tells the company exactly where the on-site staff' whereabouts are in real-time for better monitoring. The TimeTec App will automatically push attendance data to the server, ensuring more honest and accurate data, saving the company a lot of time and resources in managing the workforce. Moreover, data from TimeTec TA software can be integrated with third-party payroll software, further improving the company's process operation.

Digitalization at a company like Kazakon is crucial in managing the workforce these days because labour is getting more expensive than ever, and automation gives more space for human resources to explore more meaningful growth for the business.
